Guest guest
I still have myoclonus and I was decompressed in May 2000. I have a LP shunt (6-2002). My clonus got so bad at one point that I could no longer drive because the pressure of pushing on the gas and break would cause my ankle clonus to go wild and I could not control it. My feet would literally bounce off of the pedals. It is better now since my shunt surgery, but it still pops up now and then. It seems to get worse if I am stressed or really tired. Hope this helps! Guest guest
I have myoclonus or siezures we are not sure. I am having a 24 hour EEG on the 21st to find out. I write with a pencil now because I cannot correct the pen. When I type, I have numerous corrections. The worse the jerking gets the more trouble I have with spelling also. hpwever They changed my meds from Neurontin to Lyrica and when we got the lyrica up to 225 mg twice a day the jerking almost stopped. My EEG was already scheduled so we backed off until it is done just to diagnose the problem. Now you know sometimes the symtoms stop for a short time and start up again. but yes I am sitting here jerking all over as I type this note. Thank God I haven't had the other problems you are facing.
