I have been battling what I can only assume is hypoglycemia issues

off and on for a yr. I had a 3hr. GTT with a 2 hr. sugar at 49 a few

months back. I had gestational diabetes x 2 and was told if I didn't

drop my weight, I would for sure get diabetes. Anyways, I saw the

endo yestarday and she told me that I do not have hypoglycemia. She

said it is not uncommon for women to have blood sugars in the 40's.

It is a myth that this is hypoglycemia. I said why do I feel like

this 2 hrs. after I eat, then? She said it is a symptom of the

dysautonomia...like when the food leaves the stomach; a dumping

syndrome. I am very frustrated by this, and feel like she didn't get

this. Doesn't get mito. She does have dysautonomia though. Is this

true? Has anyone ever heard this? Would love some feedback on thius

from any of you who have dealt with bloodsugar issues and/or

hypoglycemia issues and have seen an endo. Thanks,

Dawn
