About Contacting Dr. Shoffner

Hi Everyone,

I know many of you have been to see Dr Shoffner so I figured before I called

I'd see what to expect.

My son was seen by a Dr. that my mom works for, as a favor, and immediately

wanted us to call Dr. Shoffner. He truly believes Will has a form a Mito,

and that Atlanta would be the best place to go.

He told me to just call them up, and tell them we need to be seen. The

problem is there is no way we can afford to pay much, and getting there

would be extremely difficult. Do I tell them this? I know this is

important, but I don't know how to make it work? Our insurance is a state

subsidized plan that won't cover out of state except for a transplants.

Does anyone know with it being a ish Rite hospital, does it help to

have family that are Masons?

I've seen that it takes awhile to get results back, but how long does it

take to get in? Is he as backed up as everyone else seems to be?

If anyone one has any information, it would be greatly appreciated. I hate

talking on the phone as it is, and want to be as prepared as possible.
