Tracie, When I was at the V.A. clinic within these past 2 weeks, I read an article about some foods which are anti-inflammatary. Tuna, salmon, brocolli, and I think brussel spouts, and walnuts were some of the ones listed as anti-inflammatary food items. This was in a magazine called Arthritis Today in the March/April 2006 issue. They were talking about these foods being anti-inflammatary in nature to combat people who have Rheumatoid Arthritis. My quess is that these could help in any flammatary disease like M.S. and Sarcoidosis. I came across websites about this and I should have saved their website address, but this dummy didn't. Oh well that's the way the dented golf ball goes I guess. Kathy checked her blood sugar last night and was only 97. She felt dizzy and lightheadness. She ate some cookies and was better. Why is it when a person has Diabeetes Type 2 as Kathy does, that the blood sugar go down like it did and other times it

was up to 150 perhaps more? This surgery for this Cholestealtoma is apparently on again at the end of this month. She will be in bed for 2 months healing up and perhaps longer than that. P.S. Want to have "NEW" people here? Just everyone start using their middle name. (I'am not in that rollercoaster depress mood now, I should try to keep it that way).tiodaat@... wrote: . I'm not sure I buy into everything--it kind of reminds me of the snake oil cures in my grandparents' day--but definitely some validity.Hey lady,Thanks for the website. I quickly read a little bit--and it does provide some validity.I'm like you, I am a bit skeptical and don't want to do harm--to myself or anyone else. The wonderful part is that as I get my body more into harmony and cut back on the refined sugars, the truly horrid salt intake (my wonderful Stagg Chili on a potatoe has only 1100 mg of sodium! per serving) and we should only have a maximum of 1200mg per day. . , and go more to fresh fruits and veges and cut back on the protein from

meat--I'm feeling better. Hmmm. I'm not an extremist in anything I do--and I know better than to jump in with both feet and elbows, because my body is so toxic with all the disease inflammation and drugs, that I have to use caution so that I don't create "toxic shock syndrome" from making changes to quickly--and overloading my liver and kidneys. we are all in this same boat. But if you've gone a full day without more than a glass or two of fluids-- you're already toxing your liver and kidneys. If you're loading up on sugar--your pancreas is on overload to control the insulin and the result is diabetes. As we know, too much water can kill also, and several LOCAL boys from the University in Chico--are going to spend the next 7 years in prison because they caused the death of a young fraternity pledge by forcing gallons of water, exercise to create a sweat factor- and the electrolyte imbalance killed the kid. Right now, my body is

screaming for me to find a balance-- and it's tough, becuase I am functioning at a much higher level of comprehension because the Remicade has helped my brain function more normally. I am looking into several options to help my body reestablish - for lack of a better word-- harmony. I don't have the answers either. Wish I did.Anyway, don't think I am offended by any of this-- or am defensive. I am on a mission--and I so want all of us to be weller. If by getting our electrolytes into balance, and giving our bodies the nutrition that most of us end up lacking in-- primarily by having to eat processed foods because we're too tired to cook-- so we open a can of preservatives, and by getting some hydration into the discs in our spines--than I'll figure a way to do that. I have to --my life depends on it.PS. My fatigue and exhaustion lately have been caused primarily by grieving-- I've lost several very dear

friends over the last couple of months--mothers of a couple of my girlfriends--sisters of some--and it's just been too much. These women were VERY ill--and it is a blessing that they're hanging in heaven-- but I'm tired--and have needed to pull back and refocus my energy into living today.Know I'm with all of you in Spirit--and will eventually be back with you more so online.Love to all,TracieNS Co-owner/moderator
