Guest guest
.. I asked him if neurosarc would show up on the emg's and he said it should. Im glad mine were fine, but what's wrong with me???? Bonnie, Although there is not yet a specific test that will "show" NS--what the EMG will show is if there is nerve damage and a delay or block in getting the signals from the brain to the nerves. Since he's disproved his theory of carpal tunnel (I did an email on Carpal tunnel that you can find in the ARCHIVES). with the test for that, they will be looking closer at the LP and hopefully they've run blood work for TNF proteins. Your MD is probably leaning towards wanting to prove this is MS--but if they don't find the specific protein bands in the spinal fluid--then hopefully he'll realize that you are one of the many that have NS. Check out the ARCHIVES- and read the email on carpal tunnel. What happens to us is that we get the granulomas and swelling around our wrists and hands--and that cuts off the circulation. also, if you are having difficulty breathing (either low diffusion or hyperventalation) then you'd be having the numbness also. Take care, Tracie
