Guest guest
went to the Family Doctor yesterday. She has had a sinus infection ever since she had her endoscopy and ph probe. Her fever has been 100 to 101 every day. So our Doctor started her on Amox. for a 2 week duration. Before I gave her the first dose I noticed a rash on her arms and a little on her belly; but thought little of it. When she woke up her hands and feet were swollen with a rash and her body was covered in a sand-paper like rash. Her face has the red prickly heat looking rash and her back side and torso are covered. I thought of scarlet fever. My Doctor thinks it's viral. I had only given her the 1 dose of Amox. But now I'm worried. The hands and feet being swollen worry me. Our Metabolic Dr. says he wants a heart EKG and Eco because of her leg cramping. Please someone tell me it's not related...I know no one can give medical advice-I understand that; but what would you do? Am I being overly concerned? , Mom to Nikki 9 Mito/Gerd/CVS
