Hello everyone -

Blessings to each of you and all the best. Haven't heard from me in

a while, huh?

Here is an update.

On Memorial Day, my family and I were involved in an auto accident.

My husband Russ, son Josiah, (who turned 4 on that day) and my little

cousin Faleasha were all fine, just cuts and scrapes; unfortunately,

my 83 year old father was killed. I was ejected from our Envoy SUV -

and no I was not wearing my seatbelt -hit the ground and I broke my

neck, back, fractured all my ribs and I have a closed head wound. I

have a body brace that extends from my neck to my groin.

Here is the good news - I am recovering well. Lots of more

medications to take. The community in Youngstown is awesome - the

support I have received is great, hundreds of cards and my talk show

is on break until I come back.

Well, all I ask is for prayer and for you to wear your seatbelt if

you go out anywhere in an automobile.

Right now I just wonder what else can go wrong in my life and why bad

things don't happen to rapists, murderers, etc. Why can't that person

who abuses children get sarcoidosis and suffer? Or flung out of a

car? Okay that was hateful, I am sorry about that rant/vent. But I

feel it in my heart.

The painful fact is we all have our crosses to bear. Y'all just pray

for me not just physically but mentally too.
