Tracie, This e-mail below that you responded to me way back in October 21, 2004. I found this e-mail because I thought of going back to my old e-mails and erase ones I should have. I remember why I did save this, and this was because of the drug information in this e-mail. On the very bottom it talks about that Salsalate drug that I had been taking for pain. A partial quote here, "Salsalate is used to relieve mild pain," on where a descriptive about this drug. I DON'T HAVE "MILD" PAIN ANYMORE. Just in this itself when I have to take 2 of these pills of 500 mg. each (of course with food) and this was only lasting for short time like 2-3 hours at best was not being effective enough for me should have make this rhemy doc realize that pain level for me has increased. Way back then and the following Spring, 2005 people like yourself and Joan said I should be taking Prednisone or something simliar I believe. I

know that for me to slow down or even stop this inflammatary pain I have to take that dastardly drug Prednisone. When I started to get medical care through the V.A., they (V.A.) got medical information about myself when I was getting medical care through the private sector of this business. SEE, THEY KNEW TO WAY BACK THEN (SUMMER 2002) I HAD ALL THESE YEARS OF HAVING THIS PEPTIC ULCER DISEASE PRIOR TO STARTING MEDICAL CARE THROUGH THE V.A., THAT I SHOULD NOT TAKE ANY ANTI-INFLAMMATARY DRUG(S). This is why I was not put on having to take Prednisone or any of it's "cousins" drugs (Imuran, etc.). I'am a very, very, poor candidate to take this Prednisone in the first place because of my stomach situation. Do you understand my predictament of taking such drug namely Prednisone? Remember "Damm if I do, damm if I don't?" and "T-shape road intersection of my life". Oh this is so true. My primary care doctor, Dr. Vande Haar and this

rhemy doc know all the real "NICE & GOOD SIDE AFFECTS OF TAKING PREDNISONE" (diabeetes, high blood presure (this has only been 182/124 back in 2002), mood swings, infections, and high(er) cancer risk). They said the "bad side affects" outweight the "good side affects". Again I may have got into ramblin crappy situation before. But they didn't think taking Prednisone was warranted. I agree that this was the case prior to May, 2005. Now I feel like I DON'T CARE IF I GOT CANCER BECAUSE OF TAKING THIS PREDNISONE OR IMURAN, ETC. BECAUSE I CAN'T HANDLE THIS PAIN MUCH MORE NOW. I made an appt. to see my p.c.d. and see if he will put an referal for me to have an MRI done. Please don't pass the jelly, pass some prayer if you think I'am worthy for it. aat@... wrote: Why is this sarcoid an intermitten nature? Pain in my bones be there for any-where from half an hour to several hours, days then goes away and then comes back., I wish I knew, because if I did--I'd keep myself in the "pain-free" intermittent place. I do think that some of it is related to whether you've overworked a joint or muscle. I also notice a very strong relationship between milk products and my body pain. The more milk products I consume, the worse the pain. (I know it has something to do

with the lactic acid in the milk.) For me if there is any consisently of anything of a type of involvement in myself (medical wise that is) is my pain in my right hip bone or pelvic bone. Some may called this a Butt Bone, Ha, Ha, Ha! On a scale of 0 to 10 were 10 is the worst, the worst this right hip bone pain has been these past few years I rate it at 2 1/2. Unlike my left shoulder area back in fall of 2002. By the way has anyone ever taken that pain reliever that I mention In a e-mail that is an generic equivent of Darvcet? This is called PROPOXYPHENE NAPSYLATE and ACETAMINOPHEN - 100mg of Prop Naps stuff & 650mg of Acet. (Tynol like item). During about that time I had a liver function test called Alkanline (mispell?) Phosphate test and it was 168 I believe. It is only suppose to be no higher than 130 I think. What this test is is part of a Liver Function Test--LFT. Alkaline phosphatate shows how toxic your liver is. All of the narcotic pain meds, as well as most everything else we take-- reeks havoc on the liver. Seriously consider adding Milk Thistle, tea or capsules to your daily routine. Even oncologists are recommending this to their cirrohis and liver cancer patients. No side effects, and no drug interactions. I know it helps keep my liver functioning. Well this was either because of my bone pain because I had a degeneration or atropy of bone matter there in my left shoulder (actually it was my upper left arm now that I thought about it) or because of overdosing of this Prop. Nap.

& Acet. stuff because of that pain. This pain reliever is an Opium (like) Narcottic Addictive Pain-reliever. A side affect of this that it makes you feel "giddy". But I only was on it because of the pain not because of the psychology aspects. As you said, you were taking Darvocet and Tylenol. The Darvocet is the addictive part. Yes, it may have made your liver enzymes go up. Your MD should be doing monthly LFT's due to all the drugs you are on. FOR ANY OF US ON METHOTREXATE-- YOU SERIOUSLY NEED FOLIC ACID 1MG DAILY TO STOP PERNICIOUS ANEMIA--AND LIVER FUNCTION TESTS MONTHLY. INSIST ON THEM IF YOUR MD ISN'T DOING IT ALREADY. I'am taking less or even none at all,

the rheumalogy medcine called Salsalate 500mg because in part I wanted know the tolerance level I can put up with this that I can live with the pain and no medication. Tracie, what I sent before "Medical Questions", is that other than getting myself "backup" (just got eat more wheaties stuff!), is there any drug inter-reaction of those medicines between themselves (I don't think there is none) and such as taking Corticosteriods? gARY, i HAVE NO IDEA IF YOUR MEDS ARE CAUSING INTERACTIONS BETWEEN THEM. , I'm butting in here because of that last line: "pass some prayer if you think I'm worthy of it." Horse hockey! None of us are worthy, when you really think about it. But we pray for each other because God thinks we're worthy. If you don't quit putting yourself down, I'm taking a bus to Grand Rapids & boxing your ears! And don't think I won't do it. Just ask my kids & grandkids.

, I'm butting in here because of that last line: "pass some prayer if you think I'm worthy of it." Horse hockey! None of us are worthy, when you really think about it. But we pray for each other because God thinks we're worthy. If you don't quit putting yourself down, I'm taking a bus to Grand Rapids & boxing your ears! And don't think I won't do it. Just ask my kids & grandkids.

Tracie,

This e-mail below that you responded to me way back in October 21, 2004.

I know that for me to slow down or even stop this inflammatary pain I have to take that dastardly drug Prednisone. Vande Haar and this rhemy doc know all the real "NICE & GOOD SIDE AFFECTS OF TAKING PREDNISONE" (diabeetes, high blood presure (this has only been 182/124 back in 2002), mood swings, infections, and high(er) cancer risk).

Tracie,

This e-mail below that you responded to me way back in October 21, 2004.

I know that for me to slow down or even stop this inflammatary pain I have to take that dastardly drug Prednisone. Vande Haar and this rhemy doc know all the real "NICE & GOOD SIDE AFFECTS OF TAKING PREDNISONE" (diabeetes, high blood presure (this has only been 182/124 back in 2002), mood swings, infections, and high(er) cancer risk).

Why is this sarcoid an intermitten nature? Pain in my bones be there for any-where from half an hour to several hours, days then goes away and then comes back., I wish I knew, because if I did--I'd keep myself in the "pain-free" intermittent place. I do think that some of it is related to whether you've overworked a joint or muscle. I also notice a very strong relationship between milk products and my body pain. The more milk products I consume, the worse the pain. (I know it has something to do with the lactic acid in the milk.) For me if there is any consisently of anything of a type of involvement in myself (medical wise that is) is my pain in my right hip bone or pelvic bone. I'am taking less or even none at all, the rheumalogy medcine called Salsalate 500mg because in part I wanted know the tolerance level I can put up with this that I can live with the pain and no medication.
