Did you read her book, it was all

about her, not all about sarcoid. I was not impressed at all. So this

does not surprise me. But nice of you to try, that is what we need, someone big

to talk about Sarcoid. Hey maybe one of us could make it big? Rose

you could do stand up(or sit down) comedy, you’d make it big?

It is literally ignorance my friend. It reminds me of times of old

when people with leprosy were shunned severly. In the old country

some of this still exist. The lepod had the responsibility of

staying away and shouting " unclean! " if anyone came near. Their

sight was considered so distasteful that they had to keep covered

and away from people that were not lepods.

Remember how it was before AIDS became famous? Liz and few

others were the only celebrities to openly speak up for charitable

donations for AIDS. Now that it is " fashionable and popular " to wear

a red ribbon, more and more people are doing it as a symbol of

pride. Know what I mean.

So, maybe one day, one day people will shed their ignorance and

become courageous to speak up for what is truth and what is right,

and that is caring for each other, regardless.

The one thing that I hate most is being a blind follower. Following

the crowd and being mediocre is not for me. I will rather fail

miserably and stand alone before I follow the crowd blindly and be

mediocre.

Honest to God I would and have taken that position SEVERAL TIMES

THROUGHOUT MY ENTIRE LIFE, EVEN SINCE MY YOUTH!!!

You see, with a failure, I am going to learn such valuable lessons

that carry me throughout my entire life. Standing alone for what I

believe is right regardless of what the majority thinks is going to

teach me and " OTHERS " a valuable lesson as well. So, do not be

afraid of failure in its proper perspective nor be afraid of standing

alone when your intergrity and self worth is at stake.

Many of our leaders have become unforgettable leaders because of

these same principles.

Where would the church be without Luther and his thesis?

Where would civil rights be without Parks?

Where would we be as a nations if not for Abraham Lincoln?

Each one of these persons were STRONGLy opposed for their decision by

the majority and were considered a failure at some point for their

strong opposition to the majority. But look how history has restored

and recorded them.

So stand up firmly, faithfully and unwaveringly for what you know and

believe is right and dismiss the rest!
