Guest guest
To our Neurosarcoidosis Family, For those of you who have been around a short while-- Steve Wells was one of the men stricken with severe multisystem sarcoidosis. Steve had suffered from many strokes, seizures, pulmonary disease and the crippling effects of advanced sarcoidosis. He had been bedridden for a very long time, and his dear mother -Shirley, was his caregiver for many of the last years. Steve participated in some of the "chats"-- sent some email to the group, but it was Shirley that took the time and effort to learn about this disease. She was his advocate. Below is a note I sent to Shirley. Please keep her and Steve's family in your hearts and prayers. Dear Shirley, I send my deepest sympathy. I know that Steve touched alot of our hearts at the Neurosarcoidosis Support Group. You also, have touched our hearts with the love and compassion and willingness to learn about Steve's disease--and be there to support him. This is not a journey that I'd wish on anyone. I pray that someday we will have more answers and a cure for this disease. In the meantime, we will keep on fighting--for all the Steve's that weren't able to find the answers. With heartfelt love, Tracie Feldhaus NS Co-owner/moderater
