I am so glad that it has helped your son so much thus far. I can imagine how frustrating it is to not be able to treat this monster the way the doctors recommend treating it. I enjoyed the call as much as you! We will have to keep in touch with one another concerning the vasculitis. I wonder what our doctors would think about the Mito-Vasculitis connection that seems to be showing up on the Mitooldies and with us. I definitely will talk to dr. Whiteman about it if he EVER calls me back. I do love him but he can be quite hard to get a hold of at times. Darla: mommy to Asenath Darla Klein Darla,Sorry this has taken me forever, since we talked, I haven't been on much.I just wanted to thank you for the phone call, it was wonderful to talk...thank you again...I spoke again with the hematologist and he concurred with me that the reason my son has done so well with the strokes from the vasculitis is directly due to the fact that he has been on coumadin and asparin and IVIG prior to developing vasculitis. Thank God for small miracles.
