Kim,

Once again you've put into words what all of us are feeling. It is so very hard to trust our MD's. It's so disappointing to have to defend yourself everytime you walk into the MD's office.

Kim, your letter to us is so very validating-- I would hope you'll send a copy to your MD's--both current and the MD's of the past that scourned you. They need to read this-- and they need to realize that the fact they feel inadequate does not give them the right to belittle you as a patient.

Although we can't expect our MD's to be up on all the newest approaches to sarcoid treatments-- they do need to be open to us sharing our knowledge with them.

I can only speak from my heart-- but I know that when I stay stuck in the past-- and my resentment and anger takes over, that I am feeding my disease. Since all of us have such limited energy-- I can only say that it is so very important to use that energy in healing what we can today.

My heart is with you--and with all of us.
