Guest guest
Rose, I finally talked to the PCP; I see him in a couple of weeks and if the lymph node on my chest is still there, he is going to send me to a surgeon and get it biopsied. Woo hoo. At lease he is listening. I still haven't had any response from Duke regarding my letter but I will ask my PCP to call when I see him. I don't know if I told you but when I went to Duke, I found out that my local neurologist never sent any records, ever. So I made a copy - which shows the deficits I was having - and sent them with a nice note. I hope all is well with you. What about the issues with your grand-daughter? I know that must be a difficult situation. I have a sister that is bipolar and drug addicted. She has come to the realization that neither my sister nor I have contacted her recently (due to her drug use) and of course I get a message on my machine with her slurring her words and all kinds of stuff. I don't want to write her
Guest guest
Good for you, Terri! But ain't it a shame the sick people hve to do so much of the work. I wish we could deduct it from the bill. I'm still trying to decide about Sam; whether to let her come home & have another last chance. I've been praying about it, but I need what a friend of mine calls a "smack-you-in-the-face burning bush." Well, I've got another 3 weeks to decide. Thanks for asking. I had two preschoolers spend the night--my grandson & great-niece Gwynith. Dang; I'll take teenagers any time! I didn't get to sleep until midnight. They are still sleeping, with a flashlight still on! Must be Energizer bunny batteries. I'm going to answer a few emails, then try to get another couple of hours sleep.
