Guest guest
If I had to guess, I would say she is dehydrated. But, Grace commonly has a horrible smell to her urine for no reason that I know of. Did they change any of her medicines, or give her new ones while in the hospital? I would, at least, call your doctor. I hope it is nothing, and she is feeling better really soon.

Guest guest
Darla, I know the smell you are talking about but have not been able to pin point it either. Wyatt use to sweat that smell. Dr. Whiteman told us next time we smelled the smell to take a urine sample and wrap it up tightly with shipping tape and then have it sent to Mayo. He had some tests in mind that he would run. He really stressed the taping the sample tight because the odor/smell could evaporate before they get to test it. Sorry I can not be of more help, but wanted you to know that I know that smell. Sorry for all of the troubles you have been having. Geri-Anne and Wyatt, Complex I > Asenath is getting sicker and this morning I noticed a horrible cleaner type smell in her urine. Dark yellow urine and possible ammonia type smell? Means what again? Her temperature is a little elevated as well so following her closely. Any help is appreciated as labs were not drawn at hospital. > > Darla: mommy to: > Asenath (4) Mito, brain vasculitis, strokes, migraines, seizures, g-tube, disautonomia issues, hypotonia, heat/exercise intolerance, oxygen use, asthma... > Zipporrah,(5 mon.)Mito, strokes, sensory issues, feeding/breathing issues..Get more from the Web.
