Davonne, My daughter has been on Keppra for almost 2 yrs. Other than a little excessive sleepiness when she started it and when it has been increased, there have been no noticable side effects. She takes phenobarb as well, and has had severe side effects from it. The Keppra has done a good job of controlling her tonic and tonic clonic seizures and reducing the clusters of seizures.
