Davonne--

My twins have been on Keppra for a year and a half. Keppra is also known as Levitracetam. When doing a search, make sure you have two "p's" and it should bring up quite a bit of info. We have been happy with Keppra. The twins are also on Zonegran and Klonipin. The combination of Keppra and Zonegran, along with the mito cocktail, has helped majorly decrease the number of large seizures the girls have had. We only see those now with a fever. We started the Klonipin this past January and have seen great results with it also. It has helped with the girls' myoclonic seizures. We are still seeing a few when they are tired, need to eat, or are under the weather but, have gone from seeing 100+ a day to 10 or less.

Please feel free to ask any other questions. We've been through a number of different seizure meds in the last two ears. I hope the Keppra and Klonipin make a difference for Karlee.
