had this too. It sounds like granulation tissue. They gave

us silver nitrate sticks and I did this forever. I finally called

them and said it just keeps growing back.Help! They gave us a

steroid cr. and it was gone in a week and never came back. Try the

cream if they will give it to you.

They told us that this is a form of scarring. We found that we got

less of the bumps when we stopped cleaning quite as much and with

more gentle cleansers. ie soap and water instead of diluted

perioxide. We were irritating it into growing! We used the steriod

cream also and it shrank back or went away. We used the silver

nitrate sticks once or twice but says they really hurt. It is

a chemical burn off of the tissue.

also got one or two up by his trach site. They said that they

can laser them off up there.

I vote with the rest to try the steriod cream first!
