You can just type chat, or voice chat -- but voice chat is hard if you have more than two people in the room. Used to cut out alot. LOL the other night I listened to where daughter Kris was chatting, at some Scotland yahoo thing. Was quite a few people type chatting but two guys were voice chatting and just really dogging each other, could not understand half what they said cause they were ish fella's and talking in their slang as well.. It was hilarious.. Kris said they went on and on for a couple hours. I don't think our chats would get like that, but it was rather fun to listen too. You can do it like this go to www.yahoo.com There will be a list of interests or activities, click on GROUPs and you will come to your groups page, if that is only one you belong to - easy just click on our yahoo club and once you are there click on the CHAT of left side... Wait a bit while it initalizes and you are good to go. If you want to voice chat have to some extra to get that going... If you want to chat with a particular group, set a time and let everyone know when so people know when to log into chat, of course keeping in mind the distances and time differences involved. Guest guest Posted May 1, 2006 Report Share Posted May 1, 2006 Tracie, I have a NS-Chat room set up on Mirc. its on the Server DALnet, they will have to download the program at http://www.mirc.com/ there is a see how to install tag on the Left hand side. Read the instructions before downloading. To join the chat room, you will have to type in #NS-Chat then hit enter, but this is after you have the program downloaded.
