Guest guest
I have had the pleasure of visiting your city on 3-4 different occassions and I love it! Upon my first visit I thought the houses were built too close together. But after my next few visits to the city, the Pier, the restaurants, (McCormicks and others) I fell in love with San Franciso. I also visited Marin County and took the ferry from Larkspur and stayed at the Marriott Courtyard. I enjoyed the food, the people the dining the Pier especially, the street cars and the diversity. I wanted to explore China Town but the hills and my sarcoidosis would not permit it. But I had an opportunity to shop, meet politicians, and people from all backgrounds. The young people mostly Asians were so a alive and vibrant and full of life. They seemed so happy with themselves and their environment. I met a lady from Sweden that was selling jewelry, (white coral bracelets) and she was very blonde, very blue eyed and very nice. I had never met a true swed before. And she represented herself very nicely. I commented on how beautiful she was and reciprocated by telling me how much she admired the features of Africans and African Americans, especially the babies. That just goes to show differences are beautiful and can be embraced without prejudice. San Francisco is truly and International City, just like Toronto, Ontario with its different cultures and background. But San Francisco is a little more unique and fascinating I must say. The food is very adventurous! Didn't mean to ramble, but the cost of living might be worth it. The quality of life is just unbelievable! However, just stay away from those live eels that are kept in buckets in China Town that I heard so much about! Ron (Smiles)
