Guest guest Posted January 2, 2004 Report Share Posted January 2, 2004 I have a friend who was at the endocrinologist with her 4 year old and was told that with children with special needs (she has twin to twin syndrome)puberty can start very early and that to not be surprised if she started having her period around 5 or 6. I have no advice for you but just wanted you to know of the situation. If you would like to talk to her I can send you her e-mail. Guest guest Posted January 5, 2004 Report Share Posted January 5, 2004 I saw a television program which was tracing back early puberty for girls and boys to better nutrition and to growth hormones which are in the chickens. Don't know if going organic or vegatarian after its already started will turn back the clock.
