Guest guest
After doing a little research on using cellulase for fighting yeast, several points come keep coming up. First, the cellulase enzymes should be used between meals, otherwise the enzymes will be wasted digesting cellulose in foods. Also, it should be a high potency cellulase product. One source recommends at least 225,000 C.U.s. (Devin, correct me if I am off base here!) I've come across a couple of products; one is called Candex, the other is Thera-zyme SMl (put out by Dr. Loomis' company, Enzyme Formulations). Both of these also have probiotics in them. For the last few days, I have given Josh one each of the Peptizyde and Zyme-Prime, along with a capsule of Olive Leaf Extract in the afternoon on an empty stomach, and I have noticed much more die-off reaction, so I know there is something to this. So, to make a long story short (too late!), I'm going to pursue a cellulase supplement to take along with the Houston Enzymes to try to see if we can make some headway on this yeast problem. Wish me luck! Celia
