Guest guest Posted February 18, 2004 Report Share Posted February 18, 2004 Thanks for asking about us. We are doing great. Wyatt has been sick twice since we put the tube in last month. Nothing major- throwing up and dehydration. But because of the tube we were able to give him fluids and keep him at home. It was great. One of the times we would have ended up in the hospital because he was gagging every time we tried to get him to drink, but the tube saved us. I am so happy that we did it. It is the best thing. I laugh at having waited so long, but I think everyone needs to come to their decision on their own time. The insurance company called to ask why we put in the tube. I was in a saracastic mood that day and told them because I never felt like cooking again and I thought this would be the easiest way to make sure my child still ate. The women was so taken aback at first but then started to laugh. She said maybe I should have read his record a little more thoroughly. Hope all is well with you guys.
