Guest guest
tracie, i know it will take time, they decided to leave me on the 2grms cellcept and the plaquanil instead of switching over to mtx while on teh remicade. he told me the steroids were to avoid an allergic reaction to the drug during the infusion , nothing else. like they would give soemone who came in with a severe allergic reaction he said. i dont know . thats what he said. and they didnt have anythign else ready to give me for the possible allergic reaction except one little pill, so i just took the steroid in the iv. i wish dr baughman would write me back and answer my questions ... i wish someone would answer my questions. what all these labs mean,etc....... im wiped out and exhausted.....thanks for writing tracie.. take care , hope you are doing alright, kimtiodaat@... wrote: I am so glad that you finally got the Remicade. Kim, give it time, you're so very sick, and this is a start. I know the MD wants to think it's MS, and I hope it's not a combo-- but I do hope he's willing to look at the whole picture and not just a couple of things. Hang in there-- and see if they can give you MTX with the Remicade--then MTX shots weekly (so it bypasses your liver) instead of the steroids. Since you've got MD's listening to you now-- let them run the tests they want to run-- and let's get this figured out. I don't need to tell you that with as many components as you're dealing with-- it may take a combonation of meds.Love to you,Tracie Brings words and photos together (easily) with PhotoMail - it's free and works with Yahoo!
