Guest guest Posted May 25, 2006 Report Share Posted May 25, 2006 Well being on high dose's for 5 yrs i was in very bad shape.. my blood sugar was almost 600 i was almost 300lbs, my blood pressure couldn't be stablized. just so many problems and the Rheumy told the Neuro Dr to get me off the predisone ASAP. Was hospitalized and weaned off with one week and was started on the imuran and plaquneil. i hope that answers you question..
