Guest guest
I don't remember who asked about neuropathy. Neuropathy is abnormal sensations due to nerve damage. They can include numbness, tingling, burning, stabbing and more. Neuropathic pain refers to the painful sensations. You can have neuropathic pain anywhere in your body--like shingles, intercostal neuralgia (pain along ribs), trigeminal neuralgia from damage to the 5th cranial nerve, peripheral usually referring to extremities, feet most commonly, although my hands are starting to show symptoms. Here are a couple of websites. The first one, The American Chronic Pain Association, has an excellent section on neuropathic pain with a nice brochure you can download. On the Home Page, look for "It Takes Nerve." http://www.theacpa.org/# The other website is for The Neuropathy Association. I haven't had the chance to do more than scan the info. http://www.neuropathy.org/site/PageServer Hope this helps whoever was inquiring! Ramblin' Rose Moderator All-in-one PC Care. Guest guest
Rose, Yes I have your cell, but it might not be today. Something is going on with my niece and I am waiting on a phone call to find out what is going on. Thanks. Terri
