who is 4 years old, was dx. with Lordosis, a form of Scoliosis.

They say it is due to his weak muscles. When he wake up, his stomach

muscles are nice and firm. By evening hours his stomach is bulging

and his bach is bowed.

Is this common with Mito kids???

Thank You for you time!!!!!

Tamara ( age 4, unspecific Mito)

As mentioned if you have weak stomach muscles that will happen. My oldest

son has weak abs and I can see a bow in this back and remind him to

stand tall and try using his ab muscles by pulling it in. His OT that we

work with during the summer gives him specific exercises to do (but we

haven't done them alot) to help in t hat area. And my son doesn't have mito.
