Guest guest
Okay, I just had to share this uplifting story. Some of you may be old enough to remember a roach spray called Real Kill. When I was about 9-12 years old we lived in Tucson, Arizona. Most people had dirt yards back then, but across the street was an extension of the U. of Arizona & they had a grassy area bounded by trees & hedges. They let the neighborhood kids play there & we called it "The Lawn." We played tag, hide & seek, statues, etc. Sometimes we got bored & made up games. The one I remember was Real Kill. One kid was the sprayer & the rest were roaches. The roaches had to crawl around on all 4's while the sprayer tried to tag us. We had safe areas & we would get together and try to get across the open space at once, crawling ever which way. Some would make it, although of course we'd lose a few. If you got tagged, you had to lie on your back with your hands & feet up in the air until all the roaches were dead. I've wondered since then what the passing motorists thought. I'll bet they would never guess the game we were playing! Ah, isn't the imagination of children a wonderful thing? Especially Hobby Lobby. My mother & daughter can't take the soap aisle or thecandle/incense aisle. The smell makes them nauseated.I'm not too sensative. I just get sick from the smellof Raid & that cologne a woman in our office wore thatsmelled like Raid.
