Guest guest
Sharon, that's really neat that you are training a service dog. Have you done it before? I will keep you in my thoughts & prayers. We had our visit with the dog last night and every thing went perfect. I got kisses in the face and we even played tug of war. He even wanted to follow me out of the house when Tom and I had to leave. Things are really going backwards on me right now. Guest guest
How wonderful you're going to get a dog. This is for yourself isn't it? I had wondered about seeing if I could get one myself but not enough room in this tiny apt. I heard that you had to be really strict with them & I spoiled my last dog really bad. He wasn't a service dog. The ex boyfriend started it by feeding him shrimp! LOL That dog thought he was human. You're in my prayers. grannylunatic@... __________________________________________________
Guest guest
, I'll loan you a very opinionated pug, he's a pain in the butt. He looks exactly like the dog in the Advair commercial, you know the one where they owner is chasing him all over town and he's to slick to catch.. His name is Boo, and tonight when I came home from a long day at my neurologist office, Boo had knocked over the trash can and had it all over the floor, then he ran outside as I was getting all of my stuff in the door, but I know better than to try and catch him, I just went back to my car and opened the door and Yup in he came, he was C-A-P-T-U-R-E-D !!! So just let me know when and where you want him and I'll have his little pug bag ready for the move.. lol Hugz, -- Re: Rottweiler How wonderful you're going to get a dog. Guest guest
I found out that the Rottweiler is a very independent dog, just like cats. Yes you have to have a firm hand and Tom and I both will have a firm hand. Tom will not interfer with his training because he knows the dog must obey me. Guest guest
He sounds adorable, just like my youngest grandson! The problem with a pug is if I tried to use him to help me get out of the floor I'd squish him to death. LOL grannylunatic@... __________________________________________________
Guest guest
You know I don't think you'd squish him, he's 30lbs of fat, big for a pug. But you know back in April this year I fell and broke my Left shoulder, and glazed my head against the wall, my son was out in the back yard, and he when nuts barking and got my son's attention, there was no way to ignore him, he knew something was badly wrong by the way he was barking. -- Re: Rottweiler He sounds adorable, just like my youngest grandson! The problem with a pug is if I tried to use him tohelp me get out of the floor I'd squish him to death.
