Guest guest
, I've had sinus trouble for years. Just lately, after having hearing tests and mri of head, they discovered that my eustation tubes have thickened ....along with other parts of my sinuses. I have to take a steroid nasal spray to keep the inflammation down or then it really hurts. Yet there is constant pain and pressure. My neck and under my ears always feel swollen. The weather really affects it, too. I also have swelling and inflammation of the parotid(salivary) glands. My head generally feels like crap....like it's in a vice most of the time. I've found that taking Mucinex helps. I also have to drink lots of water to keep the sinuses flowing well. But this head pressure affects alot of things I do. I went to Hobby Lobby a couple weeks ago and I got sick 5-10 minutes of entering the store. I went to Target this week and I was sick almost immediately upon entering the store. I'm not sure if it's the smells or the dryness or lights or a combination. I feel like I could pass out while in the store....it's scary. I keep air-cleaners and humidifiers going throughout the house, too. ...talk about living in a bubble. That's probably why I get sick whenever I go anywhere else. who knows... hugs S. wrote: SWhat kind of trouble are you having with your sinuses? My nose is always dry but feels full. Guest guest
The Monkey's Paw was one of the stories they used to tell when I was little & my Grandmother would start her ghost stories. LOL I think it ended up in a grosser version in one of the horror flicks....Let me think a minute....Tales from the Crypt? A woman found the paw & had 3 wishes. She wished for money & they got a knock at the door. Their son was killed in an accident & they got money. The woman wished him alive & he was at the door but mangled. Grandma's story wished him gone again but the Crypt story wished him alive forever & the embalming fluid was burning him. I liked Grandma's version better. She could sure spin a tale & it was creepier out on the patio starting to get dark & my imagination is scarier than the gross out movies. LOL grannylunatic@... __________________________________________________
