Ditto here. Asenath and I both get pale frequently. My husband is always commenting on my paleness and then asks if I am ok. I usually feel ok but a little run down. Asenath gets paler the more tired or ill she is. It is always nice when the paleness is replaced by color. It makes us feel that she is doing better. I guess I tend to worry more about her when she is pale as for her it indicates how she is doing. She is better lately with the color issue, actually toward the other side with bright red cheeks. :) Darla: mommy to Asenath (more headaches lately with lower pulse ox for some reason. :( I used 2 L. oxygen last night which is higher for her.) Re: pale >I'm sure you will get ALOT of responses to your question about our kids >being pale.Yep, count Emilie in on this one, too. Like the flushed cheeks, looking pale for her comes in clusters--it will happen for days or weeks at a time, then not again for weeks. She also gets the dark circles under her eyes when she's pale, like others have mentioned. I think with Emilie it may be be a general unwellness or fatigue. She also gets pale when she's having a migraine variant. But the weird thing is, sometimes she's only pale for a minute or less. I've sat and watched it happen. Don't know what that could be--maybe a change in blood pressure or something else autonomic?BTW, Emilie hasn't been pale nearly as often since she started CoQ10. -- Mom to:Emilie (17), mito--complex IV, cp, ld Kaitlin (17), cp, asthma, a few autonomic symptomsIan (22) migraines...and wife to Tim, who has a heart of goldPlease contact mito-owner with any problems or questions.
