Guest guest
Ann Marie, The incubation period on chickenpox is 2 to 3 weeks from exposure. Kids are contagious until all pox are scabbed over. Our daughter had them even though she was vaccinated. Her pox were " less severe " (as determined by the doctor, not me) but she had the fever part in spades. Separation does help to minimize the exposure and thus the severity of the out break. Best of luck with your son- keep him well hydrated and lots of Vit C. If you use homeopathics-Rhus Tox is specific for Chickenpox and really helped our daughter with the itches.
