Please push those Dr's to get him in as soon as you can. And just don't settle for when they want to give you an appt.

Can't believe they didn't put your husband on Steriods even.

But remember to vent anytime.we are all here to listen.

Blessings & Hugs and a pain free day

Vent away sweetie! It's great that you push for your

husband when it's not in your nature. The office staff

sometimes act like they are in charge & the doc works

for them. Push on WARRIOR WOMAN

Hi & welcome. I'm glad you are keeping informed about the sarc monster. If you printed out a couple of messages, would your husband read them? Maybe that would get him interested.

How old is your husband & how long has he had sarc? Has he been on treatment in the past? Where are you located? I'm not nosy (well, I am); this info would help us give you some suggestions. He needs to be seeing a provider with current knowledge about sarc & treatment options. Good luck & keep hounding those docs' offices. Then when you do get him in, try to take some cookies or other treat with a little thank-you note. I guarantee you, it will pay off in the future. You will go from being the bitchy wife to a sweetheart in a tough situation. I have worked in health clinics for over 20 years & I know the ropes. Give those little girls hugs from us, would you?

Oh, there is a great website for caregivers, the National Family Caregivers Assoc. It might give you some helpful suggestions & support for yourself. The web address is:

My husband is having a "flare" Iguess, still on eyedrops for uveitis, but not breathing well - so Itake him to primary Dr. (can't get in to pulmonary til March 12!!!)Ask Dr to take some blood test - His ACE is 254, along w/ 3 otherliver related high #'s. He is not currently on any meds so I callback and push my way through to Pulm's secretary and she says she cansqueeze him in Feb 22. Still not good enough so I am hoing for a callfrom him after faxing over lab results. I hate to be so pushy - notmy nature - but they leave you no choice. My husband is content tocurl up and let the sarc take over, but we have 2 little girls and itis not okay with me. Wish he would read here and see he is not alone, but the Dr. says every case of sarc is different so he is convinced noone else suffers like he does. I know my story is nothing new, buthelps to vent - thanks~~~~ *** ~~~ *** ~~~ *** ~~~~The Neurosarcoidosis CommunityNS CHAT:- Has been cancelled for now.Message Archives:-http://groups.yahoo.com/group/Neurosarcoidosis/messagesMembers Database:-Listings of locations, phone numbers, and instant messengers.http://groups.yahoo.com/group/Neurosarcoidosis/database

It may not be in your nature to push, but do it anyway. If the office

is close, go by and be a pest. Ask to speak to someone in charge who

had the authority to work a patient in. There is always someone in an

office who can do that.

Keep us posted and let your husband know that while everyone is

different, he would feel better to talk about it.

I have to say I am so glad you stayed with the group. You have the gift

of compassion and other people will benefit from that. Hang in there.
