Guest guest
What were some of your children's symptoms that caused you to know they had allergies towards the food? I have a brother who is allergic to sugar and how he knew was heart palpitations and arrhythmias. He has to be very careful about everything he eats and avoid so many foods. Darla: mommy to Asenath Re: Food sensitivities???Mito related??? . I am having a hard time getting her to drink the rice and soy milk.Have you tried the choc. Silk milk? That is what I drink. Maya can't have it because of the sugar, but I take the plain soy milk and add plain coco powder and equal to make choc soy milk within her restriction. Never could get her to drink rice milk and you can't cook with rice milk either. Soy milk will work in some recipes and will thicken for pudding, etc (if you need to make pudding to give meds, etc). Please contact mito-owner with any problems or questions.

Guest guest
Most of our symptoms were GI, but also rashes, behavior changes and liver enzymes. At one point she was having bloating so bad that she could not walk and was tripling her girth measurements. We then confirmed everything by RAST blood testing, breath hydrogen testing, and the genetics testing for some of the congenital food intolerances. Guest guest
Darla, Molly has never in 2 1/2 yrs. had a normal bowel movement. Always mushy. The thing that I suspected the most was vit deficiencies because when I started her on pediasure to make sure she was getting proper nutrition, her bms became more formed, though very dark and thick. Gross huh? It was just a blood test they ran, pretty easy. Now the thing for me is to find out what came first, the sensitivity, or is this mito related. Every mito doc has a different opinion on this...on everything it seems. Dawn
