If you use Eudora Pro as your email client, you can set up filters so that any email with a certain parameter (such as email addy) can be transferred to your trash file without your ever having to see it. Guest guest
Anita: Yes. You can do that if you are using either Outlook Express or Outlook Explorer. Click on "tools," "message rules," "mail," and then you have lots of options, one of which is that you can automatically delete all mail from a specific person. It is sometimes referred to as you "twit list." I have several people on my list already. If you are using a mail program other than Outlook you can generally do it as well but I can't tell you how. If you have Netscape mail, open it, go under Edit, choose Filter Messages, then just follow the directions. You can filter by sender, words in the subject line, or whatever you choose. Guest guest
Liane & Joe and everyone else who gave me info , Thanks for the info *hugs* Hopefully this will work and I will no longer have to hear anyone's diatribe in a group that's for us to share knowledge (good or bad), support and encouragement. Everyone's entitled to their opinions, but it just shows immaturity when you try to verbally lambast others because they don't agree with you. I'm not going to name any names, but I think everyone knows whom I'm speaking of, but let's not go there. Granted, I'm no where near Pollyanna, but when you put it in perspective, even when we disagree we still need to support each other and respect each other's opinions. We are still at the point when most insurance companies would still rather treat all your co-morbidities instead of the morbid obesity that's causing them or your doctor still thinks you just need to 'eat less and exercise more, join a weight management program or that you're just not trying hard enough or your family thinks if you tried harder or tried this diet or that exercise program you wouldn't need WLS surgery, etc' or even the common perception that obesity=laziness or it somehow makes you less worthy than a normal sized person. Those are things worth standing up and fighting about IMHO and we can start by treating each other with respect. Okay, I'm getting off my soapbox now, because my ankles hurt and I might start getting bitchy in a second *grins* To quote one of my favorite bands, " Life is very short and there's no time... for fussing and fighting my friends...
