,

jess has had a few of these tests, definitely take pj's or shirts that button up the front. they glue the wires on with a type of superglue, and will wrap her head in gauze like a big q-tip with the wires all coming out the top. very smelly and there will still be a few that might come loose and have to be reglued. also they will have to be confined into a small space if they are doing a video as well. take lots of toys and movie or what ever will distract her.best of luck, hope all goes well, if you have any questions please feel free to ask.

Lee,We have had a bunch of these, so these are the things that we find helpful.* Button up clothes, you can sponge bath but the wires are a pain.* Bring stuff to do, someplaces let the children play video games and others don't - this is an issue with as it is his favorite activity.* The head gets hot and itchey so you will need to keep her distracted. The first night isn't so bad but the second one can be a bugger. We have had the electrodes on as long as four nights.* You will be asked to press a button anytime that you see suspicious behavior and you will also be asked to write things down* I usually keep a suprise or two hidden in my bag for when things get frustrating - these days magic and yugio cards work great* Afterwards the glue from the electrodes is rough on the scalp * The actual time it takes to wire up the head is boring and time consuming. The smell of the glue - like airplane glue - can be powerful. We usually let watch a movie during the set up time.Hope this helps and hope you get some results. We find them annoying but helpful.Laurel Please contact mito-owner with any problems or questions.
