Well, if you are concerned about the liver, never ever give Tylenol. Tylenol is metabolized mainly through the liver, and has been widely known to cause liver damage in otherwise healthy people. The motrin is used to help with the natural inflammation of the vaccine. As I am sure you know, the vaccine is actually a small dose of the virus/disease it is intended to prevent. Your body's natural immune system will kill the virus/disease therefore making you immune to the virus/disease. While your body is fighting this, you can get a fever or inflammation. Also, almost all foreign things that enter the bloodstream are filtered through the liver. When someone has issues with the liver, they have to be very careful how damaging it can be, any inflammation to the liver is dangerous. Certain immunizations like Hep. B have to be closely monitored. (Hep. B is a virus that attracts your liver) Unfortunately this is one of the most important vaccines with someone with a liver problem. It is especially important to my daughter Grace, because she already has irreversible liver damage due to the mito. If she were to contract any of the viral Hepatitis she would almost be guaranteed to liver failure, resulting in a transplant, or worse. If you have any more questions feel free to ask. I, unfortunately, have learned a lot about the liver in the past year and a half.
