Guest guest Posted March 29, 2006 Report Share Posted March 29, 2006 Since my last flare all my meds have been increased and now im swelling more and more - I saw my GP who said it was fluid retention but I cant have meds as I have had kidney failure. My face is reallyswollen and it looks like the cushingdons is worse. Any ideas on how to keep the retention down except for excluding salt which I already try to do as much as possible ? Rose - you mentioned the other day a higher incidence of sarcoid in health workers ! It is accepted that the reason forsome auto-immune disorders are due to exposure of a disease or over exposure to infections resulting in the immune system going into 'overdrive' I am not a health worker myself but suffered nemurous infections and viruses before contracting NS ??
