Rose,

You have had too too much on your plate for too long! I do hope that the nephrologist has some advice, and support for you.

As for the eyes, it's a quick laser zap, and it makes a hole in the lens sac, and you'll be seeing better immediately. No pain, and you should be outta there in 30 mins max. Yahoo!

As for the kid-- I do hope that she spends the next year in the girls center. as you said, she's making dangerous choices, and that's not ok.

we had a similar thing going on with Tor's girlfriend, and after spending the last year going thru hell with her, she's 8 weeks sober, and is on anti-depressants that are working, and is going to meetings and group therapy, along with some individual therapy. Her eyes are alive again!

I am still worried, she is (was) a bullimic, and has dropped down to probably 90 lbs. She's eating mainly salads and boiled eggs and drinking lots of smoothies-- which is good-- but I can tell she's gone from active alcholism to active weight issues. I told myself tonight that it's ok for her to deal with one issue at a time. That was after I offended her by telling her she was getting to skinny. . oops.

Oh well, good intentions don't always come across as good intention.

Girl, take care of you-- how are the hands coming? got the cast off yet?

Love ya, call me- I'll be home Wed afternoon, and should be home all day Thurs til 2pm or so. I don't know if will be back Thurs or Fri. If he's not back by 7pm Fri, I'm to call search and rescue. He's up in the Russian Wilderness of Northern California- backpacking alone- from lake to lake. It's directly west of Mount Shasta-- a natural volcano that stands 12,000 ft at the peak. (He climbed this one last summer)

Anyway, know I'm keeping you in my heart.

Love ya,

Tracie

Rose,

I second that. You have had too much going on. Just take care of

yourself for once. It seems you have always been the caretaker and now

it is time for you to take care of yourself.

Well, there are my two cents.

Luv ya girl.
