Guest guest Posted February 2, 2004 Report Share Posted February 2, 2004 Matt had the same problem. It sounds like a granuloma which is red raised tissue around the stoma site. When Matt gets it they treat it with alittle silver nitrate which "burns" it off, but should hurt. When he switched from his g to the micket he had a granuloma and they took care of it before placing the Mickey. It only takes a few minutes and depending on how much tissue there is, it usually works right away. Hope this helps.
