Kim about remicade

Dear Kim,

I talked to a woman today who takes Remicade for Crohns. She had a

reaction to the Remicade on her second infusion because they tried to

give it to her too rapidly. She went into anaphylactic shock,

symptoms like you discribed. Brave soul had another infusion at a

normal two hour rate and never had another reaction! I don't know if

this could have been what happened to you but I thought I would tell

you. Can you find out if they did it more rapidly? She is a friend

of my daughter and wanted me to know not to let them every try to

speed up the infusions. Good Luck
