Guest guest
Am I the only one on this website that has eaten hog head cheese? I don't believe it!!! Come on, tell the truth. Who else has eaten Hog Head Cheese? Speak up! Okay, what about Chittelings,KY's or intestines whatever you want to call them. Has anyone eaten them except me? Or pig feet, pig tails, pig ears, hog maws, kidneys, tongue, tripe, rocky mountain oysters even. Has anyone else tried these? Come on! Its plenty of country farm raised people on this site. And I wasn't raised on a farm. But my grandparents were raised in the country and so were our neighbors. The freshest food I have ever eaten came from the farm not the grocery store. Go kill a hog and gut it and butcher it and see what taste better. The arm hog or the store hog. Go kill a chicken and fry and compare it to a store bought chicken. Forget the animals. Get a vine ripe tomatoe from you garden and compare it to tomatoe in the store. Get the taste difference? So no more knocking my hog recipes,OTAY? I guess you haven't been hungry enough. Guest guest
, I love you to death and I'm not knocking the hog recipes, but i'd eat dandelions first and I'm as carnivorous as they come. (Especially when I'm on pred, no cow is safe) But......I do not eat the insides of any animal, period. No I don't eat chicken gizzards either. Yes I am a girl that loves fresh vegetables of all kinds, salt pork, pork, beef, chicken, some fish, etc. My grandfather was a farmer. But I just don't eat innards. Take Care..........Connie" J.
