While I was there I spent a lot of time in Denmark and then also in France at a private Castle cheataeu. Then on to Spain for my oldest daughters wedding to a Spanish man. All went fairly well until I got to Spain and realized that I had spent days and hrs upon hrs trying to get special permission to refill my oxycodone for travel, the insurance company agreed and the pharmacy at Mayo agreed. Mayo did send three months of all of my other 14 drugs so I checked and assumed they had done the same with my pain meds as they had agreed and it had been ordered. I didn’t realize till I got to Spain I did not have it and they can not mail it out of the country. so I went to 4 drs and 4 different hospitals and 6 different pharmaceys. It took a special government paper to get the prescript refilled even though I had my Mayo prescript translated into Spanish. My daughter is a professor of Linguistics at the University of WAS Seattle so she was my interpreter. I took lower doses as I ran out and got to the throw ups in the withdrawal not to speak of the pain, I ended up going to a private hospital and oncologist who prescribed it to me and then apologized. so glad to be home MOmmer Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
