I love you , but yes I should complain. It is

blistering hot in Florida, and the humidity is the

pits. If you live where the maximum temperature in a

day in August is 78......shhhhh. The Texans and

Floridians are not buying it.....Cyborg C (Connie)

Connie, I think you didn't understand me what I wrote or misinterpted what I wrote. Where my parents live, the hotest it gets is between about 85 to 90 degrees. When I was up there in this town it was 93 to 95 degrees and the humidty was around 70%. I know this is nothing to what other places have been. It was like 117 degrees in South Dakota about 2 weeks ago. My parents don't have "central air conditioning" in there house where they live unlike having this at their house in Livonia before my dad retired. It's been a hot summer for the entire country this year. My parents just have the 2 fans in their house to get by in the summer there. Granted the summer weather in most years is very mild compare to rest of the country. Usually around the eastern Lake Michigan and around Lake Supperior is the place to be to exscape the heat except in the higher mountain attitutes. I know what it is to work in the heat myself. I worked in a factory when

it was 90 degrees outside, in one area of the plant it got to 120 degrees in there because manufacturing ovens baking the porchelan on the sheet metal parts. I work in food processing plants where it got to 100 degrees in one, and 120 degrees in the other. Working in heat just saps your energy away. Now with this medical stuff going on, I can't handle extreme heat like I did years and years ago. Connie, if you like, you can come up to northern Lower Michigan in the winter in say Janurary. Some years it's like a very common thing that it gets down to 25 or 30 degrees BELOW ZERO. When I worked at a retail store, I took ice cream sometimes in the grocery ice cream freezer that say a customer didn't want. They ONLY keep that sucker (ice cream freezer) at 15 degrees BELOW ZERO. You only stay in there about 10 seconds when you are wearing short sleeve shirt on yourself. Connie, I could tell some other

stories about "beating the heat" if you like. You are okay though, you're a Bowling Gal Princeness just like the rest of these ladies here with this group. I know what L.O.L. stands for. It stands for, Lovely Online Ladies. You're no exception to that department (L.O.L. that is). Connie Griffis wrote: I love you , but yes I should complain. , I'm glad you took my teasing lightly and not seriously. And I promise not to complain when winter comes to Florida, because I wholeheartedly admit I know absolute nothing about cold. I was born in Florida, and can count the number of times I have seen snow come and stay on the ground on 1/2 of one of my hands. I know you probably hate it, but I find snow fascinating and beautiful.....I know I know; I wouldn't if it had to live in it. It's odd though, it seems like when it snows it is a different kind of cold. Our temperatures down here of course don't go what you guys consider low, but it is a wierd, wet, penetrating kind of cold that sometimes you can't seem to get away from. (In other words, most of the time it's yucky). I do not know how you survived working in the temperature extremes most of your life. Too much cold and my breathing wants to shut down and

I wheeze like crazy until I can get to warmer air. Too much heat and I get zapped and try to melt. I begin melting like the wicked witch on the Wizard of Oz when Dorothy threw water on her. Oh well everywhere we live has it beauties and it's beasts. Thanks for writing back, I like to hear about places I've never seen. I know nothing about the North other than what I see on TV or pictures. It has got to be so different living that far up. , I'm glad you took my teasing lightly and not seriously.

Take Care........ConnieGARY WOOLARD wrote: Connie, I think you didn't understand me what I wrote or misinterpted what I wrote. Usually around the eastern Lake Michigan and around Lake Supperior is the place to be to exscape the heat except in the higher

mountain attitutes. I know what it is to work in the heat myself. I worked in a factory when it was 90 degrees outside, in one area of the plant it got to 120 degrees in there because manufacturing ovens baking the porchelan on the sheet metal parts. You only stay in there about 10 seconds when you are wearing short

sleeve shirt on yourself. Connie, I could tell some other stories about "beating the heat" if you like. You are okay though, you're a Bowling Gal Princeness just like the rest of these ladies here with this group. I know what L.O.L. stands for. It stands for, Lovely Online Ladies. You're no exception to that department (L.O.L. that is). Connie Griffis <conaugusta (AT) yahoo (DOT) com> wrote: I love you , but yes I should complain. It isblistering hot in Florida, and the humidity is thepits. If you live where the maximum temperature in aday in August is 78......shhhhh. The Texans andFloridians are not buying it.....Cyborg C (Connie)--- GARY WOOLARD <garyjwoolard (AT) yahoo (DOT) com> wrote:> Hello,> > I've haven't been around this hotel too much these> past months.
