, wouldn't you think he'd want to do something about a staff person who is so uninformed? Doesn't sound very believable to me. Darn these people! Why can't they realize what an ordeal it is for many of us to just get up, dressed & to the appointment?!? STMS (screaming to myself--new abbreviation!)

Well Rosie, I sure thought it was.. The office personel when I called to make the appointment told me that I would have the procedure today.. His reply to that was that I wasn't the first person that told him that someone of his staff had told them the same thing.. So who knows.. My hands are hugely swollen already, on my R hand I can't bend my 3rd and 4th fingers they are so swollen..

1. There is an old country expression around here that is said when something that doesn't happen that should. I knew things weren't going right when first of all my ride didn't show up to take me to have my carpal tunnel surgery. Soo, that means I had to make my son get out of bed, scream at him a couple of times to get up and leave. We got there exactly at 7:50am which was my appointment time.

#2. The doctor talked to me about having the surgery and how it wouldn't help my diabetic neuropathy, which I knew but I just need some releif from the numbness in 4 of my fingers on both hands.. So, I said ok lets do it.. and he looked at me kind of funny.. and I said "you can do it today, right?"

Well "NO" was his response.. So I came back home with the promise that his surgery registration nurse would contact me later in the week.. Not that I absloutely want to have surgery but I need some relief.. does that make sense? Anyway, no surgery for me today..
