Guest guest
Dear Ruth, I know that feeling well. Except my volunteering at the library (which is 2 mins away from my house) , the rest of the time I cocoon. I stay at home wrapped up in my house. Sometimes I get anxiety/panic attacks if I have to go out otherwise. I haven't been able to drive long distances either because of the meds I am on and the 3 accidents I have been in. (Nothing serious) The only time I enjoyed going out was my vacation with my family. Then I had an anxiety attack cause I had to go home and I knew what would happen . I would end up being alone again in the house. In a way it is also my comfort zone, but I sometimes hate not being able to get away. The illness has played a huge part in this issue. I was never like this until I got sick. This has worsened because I have had to give up driving and can't come and go as I want. The deteration of my visions I think has also made me withdraw from being around people. I do this becaues being here at home is my comfort zone. Sorry I haven't made it to the chat room...I always forget...I am going to try to set some reminder for myself.Take Care...we have missed youRuth >> Lately, I have been experincing (again!) feelings of wanting to be alone, by > myself, reserved and without communicating with anyone.> > Do you sometimes feel this way?
