I *KNOW* that you must be asking for people to send their personal information

to you privately!

I went and looked at the UMDF website under "Activities" and they don't have

this Pampered Chef Online Fundraiser listed.  

The idea of an Online Fundraiser has definite merit but, call me paranoid

if you like, but this list has a large membership so ... may I suggest that

there are certain accountability issues that you need to address such as

getting the fundraiser onto the UMDF website and establishing online rules,

remembering that the archives of the Mito list are publicly available.

We in the Mito community have to be aware that giving out personal information

on the internet can cause safety issues for our families.  I operate a group

for adults with Mito and I will not be releasing the information about this

fundraiser until online safety and accountability issues have been addressed.

I am definitely NOT suggesting that your intentions are anything other than

honourable ... but merely that, IF we are to raise money for a not-for-profit

organization such as UMDF, we reduce the accountability of the organization

unless things are done according to Hoyle!  I felt I had to say something

early since I can see the potential for this online information - giving

to get out of hand!

UMDF Online Fundraiser

Just curious for those of you who have expressed an interest in our fundraiser...are you receiving my e-mails with the info you had requested??? I have been having some trouble sending e-mails yesterday & today and wanted to make sure that you were getting them?? Please let me know.
