Guest guest
I have a condition called hypoparathyroidism, it means that i cant' make the hormone to distribute calcium through ur blood stream. My calcium lately has been staying around 7 which the dr.s dont like it usually is 7 but its been that way for so long my muscles twitch. If ur calcium gets too low ur muscles can stop working and ur heart can stop. I have been at 4 before w/ little problems which is usually life threateniing. The problem is they have upped my calcium to 5400 mgs a day normal daily allowance is 1200. Lately I have found my muscles spasming in a wierd way when i sleep almost like a vibrating sensation the only way i can relate is that i guess a seizure type but yet i can feel it happening while i am sleeping. I do get restless leg where my legs jump off the bed from it but i was wondering if it could be a seizure. how do you tell if you are having a seizure during sleep? I am just curious to know. I dono't knoww how to monitor itbut its a very odd feeling. I am kinda disoriented but know when it happens. I do get muscle twitches/spasms in my eyes, and around my mouth which are common w/ low calcium. I figured since most mito patients have muscle issues that you may be able to give me some insight. mom to zach 3 ga2 alexis
