hello all,

my wife is going in for a muscle biopsy, hopefully sooner than

later, and is really interested to hear what it is like.

her doctor tells us they will be taking a little piece of muscle from her leg

under local anesthetic. what she is particularly interested

in knowing is what to expect afterwards. any help?

My daughter ( 3 yrs old) had it done and was under general for it (as I believe most on this list were). She did very well with the procedure and we just used Motrin every 6-8 hrs for a few days after. She was able to walk around that evening and we flew home the following day. Where is she going for this? Do you know if they are doing a fresh or frozen biopsy?

Best of luck for her during this time.
