Don't buy it Barb, the guide was cute was why Rose was holding on and playing like the damsel in distress. Go Girl!!/////ConnieRose wrote: Barb, you've got some good-looking kids. Your husband's not bad either! Does he have an older brother or an uncle, say about 60? p.s. Is that the cabin you are renting? What a gorgeous view! A few years ago,

when I had money & energy, I took a couple of trips to the Smokies to just get away by myself. The first year I rented a cabin up on top of a mountain, like this one. It was wonderful. I even slept out on the deck; dragged out the futon mattress & a quilt. I expected mosquitoes, but not a one. The next year I rented a cabin on the "quiet" side, down in a valley near a stream. It was pretty, but I really missed the view. If I ever go again, it's mountain-top for me. The thing is, I don't enjoy going into civilization! Pigeon Forge & those other towns with all the shops & stuff are too busy for me. I would like to see the show at Dollywood, with dinner & a rodeo-type thing. My son took his family a couple of years ago & said it was a blast. The only reason I left my cabins before were to go white water rafting & go hiking up to some of the waterfalls. I even took

all my own food. Well, don't think I'll be doing any of that kind of stuff for a long time. I added a picture of my white water rafting experience. Fun but terrifying! I'm the one in the back of the raft clutching the guide's leg! Hey, I also hiked the Appalachian Trail that trip . . . . . well, about 5 feet of it. Enough to get a picture! I document everything. All the historical stuff! lol My husband & I enjoyed it. Your trip sounded like fun. You covered a lot of places. Have fun in the Smokies this year in your rocking chair! how they hated the whole thing. We even learned history. They really hated that. They have talked about that vacation more than any they have ever taken. They both want to go back and do it again. So sometimes they just pretend to be bored. This year we are going to the Smokies, renting a cabin and I am holding court. Anybody who wants to see me will find me on the veranda in my rocking chair.
