I think that is true. I was thinking of asking for them for a grant that would provide training on integrating all ability levels for PE and sports, at the elementary level. They only do small grants - like $1,000-5,000 - but I figured that would be plenty for training like that. That sort of training also seemed to fit in with awards they made in Utah last year. Now I'm trying to figure out where we would get someone to do that sort of training, but I'm not finding anything so far. > Now the reason it > took so long for our playground is because of the size of the playground. I'm still guessing it will take the full 2 years to get the playground funded and built though, since it will be going through the school district. I need to see what they have already planned, for starters, and see what will need to be changed (wouldn't it be awesome if they have already planned for this - but I doubt it, judging from all the latest school playgrounds I've seen). > I believe our website is Universalplayground.org. Thanks, I will look that up later today. > I know my friend and I > would love to share our experience with you. Where do you live? Good luck > and keep me posted. I would love that!
